Im so tired of this shit
they always seem to forget

those years of living hell
wasting away, becoming nothing
but doing EVERYTING
they seem to forget

It was I who stood by thier side
keeping them alive so they could hide

but do i receive any thanks
No! quite the opposite I get the blame
because I can't let go of the past
I can't forget

that I was made to be the mother
held thier hand, told them the monsters aren't real
that nothing can hurt them, shhh I'm here
they forget

well I can't, but oh how i wished that I could
Instead I am just sorely misunderstood
