STORY: The Duchess of Cambridge on Wednesday (November 12) met with British athletes at an event in London hosted by the charity SportsAid of which she is the patron.

The Duchess, also known as Kate, met with young hopefuls for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games during a special workshop hosted by the charity.

The workshop put athletes through performance assessments, which included strength and power assessments, cognitive testing, body composition assessments and tests in an environmental chamber designed to match the heat and humidity of Tokyo.

SportsAid helps prepare young disabled and non-disabled athletes for future Olympic and Paralympic Games.
