Description

You’re heavenly beautiful,
Wanted and loved by all.
A priestess, but sworn by oath
To a life behind a wall.

You’re a symbol of purity –
Bewitching by just one sight.
But not all men will respect your beliefs,
Some take with wrath and might.

Gods withered your skin and your heart,
Your eyes with cruelty imbued.
The fear of falling in love
Became real in the arms of you.

He buried your innocence
In a temple of disgrace.
A menacing raid to quench the lust
For your body and your face.
He called upon a curse,
All your nightmares and fears;
Condemned to a graveyard
Built from stones and tears.
