Kasandra Kerfont - Pillage
7 Views • Jun 16, 2014
Description
Eager to follow each shimmering star to winter.
Smeared across satin sheets with red fingertips,
Whisked to hell with a smile etched into a palm.
The thrusts of a serpent dressed in human flesh
Peel back divinity from a stolen kiss, a secret -
Unwarranted and dipped in pale white sin, lost
Beneath the overbearing heart of an eager lover.
Impassioned veins run home to an acidic heart,
Chewing on the end of a promise gone unsung -
As venom trickles from the corners of a mouth,
Morn slumbers without plague nor heavy tongue.
