Karyn Steinert - Mild Perfect Child

I wish I could be twelve again,
So I wouldn't have to deal with the pain.
Or better yet, six-
Because all my problems would have been fixed.
Then I would,
Have my childhood.
I could start a new
And then I'd have you.
You would never go away-
And I would talk with you everyday.
I never would have been in trouble.
And I would live outside the bubble.
Alas, that's something I can't change;
Something I can't rearrange.
I could have been a mild,
Perfect Child.
