Karnataka MLA attacks cops at a Bangalore pub

A Congress MLA has allegedly attacked police constables at an upscale pub in Bangalore on Tuesday night. Vijayananda Kashappanavar, MLA from Hunagund had gone to an elite pub at UB City for his birthday.

MLA and his friends allegedly forced the pub staff to serve them liquor and play music even after 11:30 pm. In Bangalore, all pubs must stop music and the sale of liquor at 11:30 pm in the night. The terrified staff served them liquor and played music even after that.

The Cubbon Park police station beat constables visited the pub at 1 o' clock and ordered them to leave. MLA and his friends allegedly attacked the constables. They informed their superiors. When they visited the pub, MLA and his friends threatened them.
