Karnataka Bus Strike: Only Passengers... No Buses

The strike that had been called for by government transport workers in the state began on 25th even before the pre decided date. The employees are demanding 30% hike and saying that they will withdraw the protest only after the department agrees to give them the hike they want and take measures against the atrocities on them by seniors. But the Government is not only unwilling to move even a little beyond 10%, but has also begun making alternative arrangements by getting probationary workers to run buses again.
