Karisma was born on 25 june 1974 to bollywood actor randhir kapoor and actress babita and reffered as lolo .she did schooling from cathedral and john connon school then later she studied in Sophia college .kapoor msde her debut from prem qaidi in 1991 which was a semi hit .then she got some hit films like jigar in 1992 ,anaari in 1993 raja babu ,suhaag and khuddar in in 1994 also coolie no.1 ,gopi kishan in 1995 ,saajan chale sasuraal ,jeet judwaa and hero no. 1 in 1997....but her raja Hindustani opposite of aamir khan was a super duper hit film at box office .film was a highest grosser and she won her first film fare best actress award .
