Karen Brogden - Time to Change

I knew u since u were a little tyke shy little one seem to recall,

I always wanted a friend like u loyal loving and caring all thrown into one package

Your loving and caring ways always brought a smile to my face,

Looking into your eyes knowing that there was and still is a. lot of your love to give
We grew as one.

Times of change have come upon us now we have to go our different ways you go yours

I go mine don’t look back it will only hurt I left you today with a tear in my eye but I

made the mistake of looking back and hearing you call but I knew I couldn’t bring myself

to look back over my shoulder

We drove away somehow I knew that we were doing the right thing but I couldn’t help

but have that sinking feeling in my heart I was losing not only a friend but a life time of

good times to match it but I know now not to remember the bad times we spent together

but the good times of being with each other making the most of the time we spent together,

I hear u call each night were apart as I cry myself to sleep

I know there is a new life about to start u can share more of that love care and attention u

share with each and every person u come across in your life

My dear friend I am sorry but I know what was done was right and some day maybe not

long from now we will see each other and know

That what was done was done in love.
