Kanlaon Volcano continues to spew ash

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported on Thursday, April 3 that Kanlaon Volcano released multiple ash plumes at 2:02 a.m., 6:01 a.m., 7:08 a.m., and 8:30 a.m.

The ash clouds rose 200 to 400 meters above the summit crater before drifting southwest to west-southwest, as monitored by thermal cameras at the Lower Masulog (VKLM) observation station and IP cameras in Canlaon City and Barangay Mansalanao in La Castellana town, both in Negros Occidental.
