Description

I saw a beggar on the street,
Who held his hands in search of meat,
He then asked me for a tiny penny,
But I didn't give because I didn't have many.

On my way I did walk,
And watch an old lady talk,
Finding something but she was blind,
And to her emotions I didn't bind.

Then way for the dinner I found,
A good goat with too loud sound,
Got her butchered for me and my friends,
To fill our stomachs and live the trend.

A little later spotted a fat man fall,
And hit a tree too tall,
But forward I didn't step,
Although the uncompassionate heart wept.

Now, watching the huge tanks coming in,
Watching the ill-hearted people giving sins,
Kids watching their dear parents die,
But after all I didn't ask 'Why? '

All this happened at once,
I watched the people run,
Think...If you were there,
Wouldn't you take your own's care?

After this down home I returned,
And to Great God pardoned,
For all that I didn't matter,
Now, my heart did really shatter.

We know that we have a short life to live,
So it is better to the needy we give,
Let it become your life's greatest passion,
And then you are worthy with compassion.
