If I could start over and see myself now,
Do you think I would feel the same?
Maybe somehow,
If I could start over again before I started
To fight,
Would I wake up from this nightmare and have
A goodnight,
If I could start with talking with my mouth,
And not with my fist,
Do you think my enemy would get with this?
If I could start over and ask myself a question,
Would I have fought with words or would I have
Used protection?
If I could start again and think this through,
I would decide the right thing to do.
If I could start again by walking away,
Would you think it would have ended this way?
Fighting sometimes I choose it sometimes,
I don’t.
But that does not mean I won’t.
If I could start all over again,
Would my life be different?
Would people think of me in another way?
If I could start over again will I
Start with using my brain?
Could I think more of myself and escape from these chains?
If I could start over again maybe I would
Achieve something else,
But look at me,
I’m fighting myself,
