Kalshi Suspends Candidates
Description
Kalshi suspended and fined three congressional candidates for trading on prediction markets tied to their own campaigns. Virginia's Mark Moran was fined $6,229.30 and given a five-year suspension after refusing to settle. Minnesota state Senator Matt Klein paid $539.85 and accepted the suspension. Texas candidate Ezekiel Enriquez paid $784.20 and cooperated with the investigation. Moran said he traded $100 deliberately to draw attention to Kalshi.
