Description
It's an experimental approach, an exchange between practices, the video by Berba FERNANDES and the dance by myself.
This project was an invitation of a platform where contemporary choreographers en dancers can upload, just in three days, a video of a solo dance starting with the last movement of the solo that the previous artist has uploaded.
Also for me it was an opportunity to put together some interests : dance on the streets, “captations” of movements and to work with a person who have a multimedia approach. It was an exchange of knowledge, experiment and play with the quality of certain movements, vision angle, gravity like an interaction between a dance and a video of that. So we did try to go on this way. For the little story, we found the music on the last moment of the editing. Surprise about the echo between the video and the music !
Great experience, enthusiastic collaboration like child with a new game. So we continu this type of experimentation between France and Brazil.
