you new disease
what horror do you bring now
to strike fear in the hearts
of many humans around
what gifts do you bring now
we had the plague
we have the flu
what more can you do
the measles
maybe some chicken pox
but being sick is like gambling
no matter what you win
what have you lost before
to these new diseases
all around, adapting
to kill the human race
to make us extinct
to rule the world
alone as germs
as the pinprick of the planet earth
but having conquered all
who must know
that there were once giants
who you know no more.
