Kaitlyn Pottle - Fighting Back Tears

I'll
try
hold
them back.
I'll try my
best to smile
through my pain,
to act like nothing's
wrong I'll put a smile on
on my face pretend my
world isn't falling apart,
that i'm not fighting. Fighting
with tears every second. By the
end of the day, I can't take it
no more. I run home to be
alone. so i can stop holding
them back. so i can
shed the first of
many tears

When i first wrote this poem, it was meant to be a shape poem, in the shape of a tear to show how i've felt for the passed year.
