Cruel beyond words
IT breaks the surface
Filling my stomac
Filling my chest
My lungs
My throat
My Head

Choking me
Burning me
Eating away at my mind

Subsiding for a while
Waves are calming
The ocean is quiet
ITs
Lurking beneath the black water
Hiding
Waiting
For the next wind
To come along
To whip up a new storm
To release IT from its depth
Enabeling it once more
To wreak havoc on an unprotected mind
