We sat solemly
Watching the other storeys
Tutu's Mama died
Such a pretty woman
With beautiful potraits
Of her lovely seeds
Now fruitful trees
Hanging on cement-paint wall
Just yesterday they prayed
But now Mama Kwik Kobo is gone
Like the time will come
When friends will gather at a place
Close to a deep forest
Where awawa barks at night
Or the bungalow built
For many years beside the Ataba Close
The time has come for her
The time will come
