Kaesong Industrial Complex 개성공단

Inter-Korean economic cooperation is expected to lay the groundwork for unification by bridging the economic gap between the two Koreas. Despite substantial results including the successful Kaesong complex project and the participation of South Korean companies in the Najin-Hasan project, further economic exchanges are yet to take place amid chilled relations on the peninsula. We take a look at the status of joint economic projects and look to measures to take a step closer toward unification.
