Kabul blast kills six
Description
Blood seeps through this young Afghan boy's bandages.
He was caught in a Saturday suicide blast in Kabul that killed at least six civilians, including young children, and wounded several more.
Officials say the 14-year-old bomber was riding a bike wearing an explosive-laden vest near NATO headquarters Camp Eggers.
The Taliban has taken responsibility for the blast, but denied the bomber was a teen and said the attack targeted Kabul CIA offices.
The NATO base is home to 2,500 coalition members training Afghan security forces ahead of the 2014 pullout.
The bombing comes as the nation commemorates war hero Ahmad Shah Masood.
He was killed on September 9, 2001, in a suicide attack by two people posing as journalists.
Masood was known as the "Lion of Panjsher", a name he received fighting against Soviet occupation.
