K2 Expedition 2009 [part 1]

A piece featuring alpinist Fabrizio Zangrilli discussing our 2009 expedition to K2 in northern Pakistan. Ursus Films was there to make a documentary. Our trip coincided with the 100th anniversary of the Italian Duke of Abruzzi's 1909 expedition, notable for pioneering what is now the standard route and coming back with amazing photographs taken by the photographer Vittorio Sella.
