Description
As time goes on,
We all get old.
We all grow weary
of this earthly load.
But we keep on moving
Down the road
To the end,
To our end.
And life is short
so make it last.
Live for now
Not the past.
Just slow down
Life is plenty fast.
Cherish the common
Hold on to the rare
And Cherish the people
For whom you care.
Look to the future
With hope and faith
That everything you do
Will come back someday.
Just be patient
And to yourself be true
Give kindness to others
And it will come back to you.
If you live for the senses
And not the mind,
A whole lot of trouble
For yourself you'll find.
If you live to help others
You will see
Your life take on meaning
and how good it can be.
