Justin Chan - Gone
1 Views • Jun 17, 2014
Description
Candles need relighting,
Lights go on subsiding.
It's insides stark.
Where once was full of light,
A source of great delight.
And since you've gone.
I've let the cobwebs grow,
And dust to form below.
Love I have none.
My heart's an endless pit,
Yet once, was brightly lit.
The door is locked.
Life once was full of song,
And ne'er was there wrong.
Happiness blocked.
The windows full of grime,
But for a sprig of thyme.
And still I hope.
Your leaving was a dream,
Remember, we're a team.
A foolish hope.
I'll wake, for verily,
You're now a memory.
