“Unlike your son who gave her up all because she was pregnant I have been around making sure shes okay and actually taking care of her,” he said as she shook her head and glared at him. “Have a nice night,” he said as she walked off with Mr. Efron as Zac followed after them. \r

“Im surprised he didnt hit you,” Mrs. Lovato said as Joe sighed and looked at her.\r

“I actually am to,” he said before he shook his head. “Im sorry you had to find out about this that way,” he told her as she shook his head. “But I do want you to know that I am not going to hurt your daughter and youve probably heard that from every jackass shes been with but she makes me better and I really dont know what I would do without her,” he admitted as Mrs. Lovato shook her head.\r

“My daughter has told me a lot about you and some of it was amusing until I found out that you two were involved,” she told him as he nodded his head. “I give everyone an equal chance though so do not screw this up or else you will be dealing with a lot more shit then you could ever imagine,” she threatened him as Joe nodded his head.\r

“And Ill just kill you,” Mr. Lovato said as Joe nodded his head.\r

“I will make sure to remember that,” he said as Mr. Lovato nodded before he walked off outside with Mrs. Lovato. “Sorry guys,” Joe said to Spencer and Toby as they shook their heads.\r

“Oh please that was fun…for most of it,” Spencer said with a smile before she walked out as Joe sighed and looked over at Nick and Selena. \r

“So you and my best friend,” Selena asked as Joe nodded his head. “You really care about her?” she asked as Joe nodded his head before he looked at Nick. \r

“Yeah I do,” he said looking back at Selena. “I dont know what Im doing most days and sometimes I feel like Im going to wake up and shell be gone but I really care about her,” he told them as they nodded there heads.\r

“Well Joe to be honest with all the changes Ive been seeing with you I cant say anything about this,” Nick said as Joe smiled slightly. “If you were still that same Joe from before I would tell you to stay the hell away from her but Ive seen the difference. I was always questioning what had happened but now I know the reason is Demi…you changed to be a good man for her and shes very lucky to have you,” he said as Joe nodded his head.\r

“Lets just hope she keeps seeing it that way cause honestly Im waiting to screw this up…Ill say or do something thatll be wrong and shell get mad and leave,” he said as Nick shook his head.\r

“Just no cheating and youll be fine,” he said as Selena nodded her head.\r
\r
“She likes you for who you are the only thing she needs from you is to know that shes the only one,” she told him as he nodded his head. “I will be checking in on you two though,” she said pointing her finger at him. “Im watching you Jonas,” she said before walking off as Nick chuckled and followed after her as Joe laughed slightly and shut the door behind them before he sighed and locked the door and set the alarm before he made his way upstairs. \r
