June FeirCruz - *Wreckage*
0 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
Did I underestimate you?
Was I careless with you?
The sin of my youth, my disgrace.
You said I am doing it again
Hurting us the second time around
As if a quarter of a century's worth of suffering is not enough
I am turning our lives inside and out.
Debris of this chaos is all around us
The repercussions of this thing we call love
Are we prepared to pay the price?
To find our very core.
Is there something to salvage this time around?
Just when the dust settled, I stir the ground
You said you will be damned if you let me go
From this wreckage, my salvation is you.
