If you think that I will sit back, relax and wait for your blows
You are cleary mistaken.
I am not your emotional punching bag!
I am not your spiritual punching bag!
I am not your psychological punching bag!
I am not your punching bag of any kind!
Who ever damaged your psyche has my wrath
For damaging a beautiful man like you
I feel your pain and your sorrow
But you must heal your wounds as well as mine.
And you must rise from the ashes like a phoenix
Life is too short for us to be hurting each other
If the lack of trust is one of the reasons we cannot get past all these
Then you must quiet your trembling tongue and your restless heart
And find the strength to move on.
