I got out of bed today
tho I really didn't want to
I finished reading a book today
tho my head could not absorb
it's meaning,
I played with the dogs outside
tho my heart was not into it
I wallow in an empty void
tho I really wish for fullfillment
I wrote a biography
tho I am ashamed to let anyone read it.
I ask all the time what is my purpose
tho I am afraid to find out I have none.
So instead, I just exist and try not to let anyone know
my true feelings
I know I do not suffer alone
tho it sure feels it!
