Hurt in the worst way
Cut deep once more
Familiar pain lets tears and blood combine
Sorrow drips from a heart left alone
A love so brilliant
-Tarnished
No longer beautiful and thriving
Left in useless abandonment
False hope lies in the pit of my stomach
Leaves me breathless
Gasping and reaching out for you
Trying not to inhale the doubt clouding my thoughts
Nothing more to hold close
The ink dried on the pages of past
One wish stands strong
The longing for a future together
