Julia Klimenova - Frost

This frost bites through my skin.
I fight, I shrink within
Into a compact ball.
But then, my body numb,
I feel I'm purged of all.
To languor I succumb
And spread my icy wings,
My soul the only thing
Left of the pre-frost me.
I'm soaring, weightless, free.
Don't wake me, or I'll fall.
