Judy Hill - A Broken Heart

You never told me that I
was just a cheap thrill,
You made me think what
we had was real.

When we were together
you brought my day joy,
I didn’t know you only
thought of me as a toy.

Making love to you
brought tears to my eyes,
It felt so special I didn’t
know your emotions for
me were lies.

Like a fool I told you I
loved you and you ran
with it,
You crumbled my heart
up and threw it away
like it wasn’t fit.



One rip to the heart and
another to the soul,
I never knew you could
be so cold.

You lied to me without even
saying a word,
My ears didn’t hear it, but
my body and heart heard.

I thought you were different
that’s why I gave myself to
you,
Now I’m sitting here feeling
so stupid and blue.

My broken heart one day will
heal,
I hope real soon you will
know how it feels.
