Judith Vriesema - aura

Description
I sketch your face across the lines of watercolours;
your eyes warm with tears of grey-blue light that ride upon a storm ridden sea.
Your smile converses with sound as it falls from the clouds unto my winter filled heart.
Silence echoes your footsteps as they fall like rain upon moss covered paths
toward a hollow beyond the beach;
my life always beginning in hafnir where love bows to the aura of the wind.
Slowly you turn your gaze upon a horizon of long lost summers where grains of sand wait
for the sun to make love to reflected light;
each rainbow a reykjavik night.
We listen for bach,
waiting for him to throw sheer notes of air into our cellos
while mozart wanders through our dreams upon rice paper.
Each note stops, breathes, hesitates, then waltzes with the moment.
Each blade of dune grass follows the ballet along with the strings of our cellos;
a brushstroke of echoes that fills your eyes with rain and mine with you.
Each series of notes constructs a conversation with the soul
then pauses to find your eyes;
love beyond the strings of your cello;
love waiting to hesitate before time stands still in an aura of motion.
