Description
A magistrate can adjourn a court matter, rules High Court Judge Frank Seepersad, in dismissing a judicial review claim brought by a man accused of drunk driving against a magistrate who adjourned his matter 8 times. As the prosecutor failed to appear multiple times, Justice Seepersad says it may be time to make police prosecutors pay for not showing up.
