JPJ will no longer ‘give face’ to e-hailing drivers
Description
Road Transport Department (JPJ) enforcement director Khairul Anwar Bachok told a press conference on Thursday that the department will no longer compromise and take action against e-hailing drivers when e-hailing regulations take effect on Oct 12.
The requirements are to change vehicle code to AH (private e-hailing) and keep a printed copy of the e-hailing vehicle permit (EVP).
