She captures the eye of the dark horse.
Something about the intensity
in which they glare
that hypnotizes her,
charms her.

Sentient decry hungry
for a puzzle to be solved.
Another heart to conquer.
Those beautiful one’s
that stand hauteur
catch her eye’s unmovable gaze.

Eye to eye passions rise,
neither willing to break the spell.
Nefarious intent, he’ll zone in on
her in the largest of crowds.

Seduce her, bleed her.
Impales her blind, faceless.

Something magnetic
about the
bombastic aura
of those dark beauties.

A resplendent serpents dance;
and when his eyes rest on her words
it’s like a genial kiss on the forehead.
