Joy Powell - God

the pain was too much to bare
I got lost between the stars and somewhere
where thoughts were a maze
that I do no remember

For 2 and 1/2 days I simmered
with angels protecting me
and your voice

It amazes me thought all this
that I could not talk well or
walk or know anything
that went on during this time

It is a comfort to me to know
it was your voice I talked to
as we have every day since we met
and how close you came to losing me
I do not remember what we talked about
perhaps
you will tell me sometime..
