Josiah Berlin - Spring Anew

On yonder pine strewn hilltop,
The bluebird gaily sings,
Among timid streams of light,
To herald coming spring.

Life begins anew - today,
Shrug thy worries old,
Doubt and fear of passed year,
Flee beside the cold.

As snow melts and grasses green,
Transform thy heart from stone,
Know Love will return to thee,
But cannot yet be known.
