Are you scared,
scared of who you are,
scared of the shadows?

They move like they have life,
they linger in the shadows,
so close to the light,
yet so far away,

I'm scared,
I stumble and fall,
The abysmal darkness closes in,
The shadows close in,

Are you scared,
scared for me,
scared of what you have read,
scared of the shadows?
I am,

In the end we are the shadows.
