Josephine Adrian - My Secret
1 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
Childhood stolen,
Innocence taken.
Anger swollen.
Fours years old,
Silent on a bed,
Screaming inside,
Wishing I was dead.
Happy memories,
Faded and grey.
What I feel inside,
My actions betray.
How many times have I relived them?
How many times will they come back?
I have lost count of the number,
It's hard to keep track.
I've finally told my secret,
After sixteen years,
Letting go of my insecurities
Letting loose my fears.
They have held me back,
For far too long.
I want to memorize the words,
To a happier song.
