Joseph Tanner - Wake up
0 Views • Oct 28, 2014
Description
I don’t want to wait up.
Near the end of a tether.
Waiting for the sun to set,
When I’m dead at the door.
Banging to be let in, or is it out?
Your screaming,
But it’s me that’s trapped?
The mind games are working,
I’ve been living in a fantasy world.
I entered the sanctuary of love by will,
So I leave when it’s burnt a hole in me.
I should of known,
Blinded by the dreams of the one I craved.
Having to sail the river at night,
When I’m dead to the world.
