we are living a life
a life we all anticipate
dreamers dream big dreams
few struggling to accomplish
many burdened with fear
fear to give it a try
some live to break the very dreams

Things wont change until we do
many fearing the very facts
many sacrifices made
prices less yet so precious before the supreme
ignorance planted in our minds
filled with voices singing
everything is okay they say

We node our heads
denying ourselves the right to think
yet we say we are free
we have freedom cant you see?
we are blind oh poor man
to even see the heavy chains hands tied
tongues tied with a piece of a dollar note
aren't we digging our own graves
slaves slaying our souls
we are the self proclaimed meat
sweet to our only enemy
we are leaving a life
its full of drama fully twisted
rotating on the same same hill
we are the self proclaimed slaves
its our lives we are living it.
