Past the pain, the scars
Into the sweet forests of faith
You are oasis
You are the tides of moonlight

I think of you always
My heart is so empty without you there
I have journeyed far
Starry nights in beckoning longing
Wondering in the desert of loneliness

Beauty like the Lakes of Wordsworth
Green Irish fields in soft spring
Winds of tender gardens with lilacs
Bounty of beauty amidst my aching heart
Hiding tears in masks of orange laughter

Now Joyce puts her prayers on my lips
