Description
- Il a commencé la guitare à l'âge de 6 ans. Après avoir appris les premiers accords par son père, il s'intéressa au rock (Santana, Gary Moore...) au même moment, il apprit à l'école la guitare classique.
- A l'âge de 15 ans il entendit pour la première fois Django.
- Après deux ans à apprendre ce style, il forma un quatuor de musique swing tzigane avec son père Günter Stephan (rythmique guitare), Max Shaaf ou RaIt Jorg à la basse, le violoniste Sâren Leyers (qui joue avec Otto Rosenberg et Danny Weiss) ou Peter Scauhter à la harpe.
