And he would sing with soft innocence in his voice
And all times in his past filled rejoice
Like all his good times had faded away

And he said the most beautiful view
Is the one I share with you
You and I could be a sweet symphony
And our love will be the beautiful melody
That lifts the hearts of all the others
And that proves that there are real lovers
Ones who see with their hearts not eyes
Where true happiness lies
And where the love never dies
Please lets never say our goodbyes

And she replied with sadness in her voice
This was not a time he would rejoice
All the love and good times had drifted away
Oh how he longed to live in yesterday

I'm so sorry that our love is dead

My life is finally on track
