Before you, i was soulless
felt like my heart was in a
a deep dark cold cave
screaming to find love
a person to accept me for who i am
Before you, there were other's
who tricked me, used me and defeated me
and left me in this cold cave wondering
what's beyond this darkness
Before you, i was giving up hope
success and myself
believing that this time the darkness would not pass
now that your in my life
i feel as if your my knight
your soul so pure, uplifted mine
your care brought light to my life
while your love stole my heart
making me realize, i was not dead inside
just paralyzed..
you altogether saved me from my cold moment
and now that i have you
i will always be true
and do know that i love you.
