What happened to you and me
Remember what we used to be

With you I felt on top of the world
And you were standing there as my girl

The girl who was the love of my life
And who I wanted to be my wife

I still remember the warmth I felt inside
With you standing there by my side

No one could break us apart
I gave you everything I had in my heart

Still it wasn't enough
And our relationship turned rough

Then just like that you were taken away
Do you know what I'd give for another day

Another day to feel your touch
And to be with the girl who I loved so much

For not a day goes by
That I don't look into your eyes

And see the sun shine
Through the girl who used to be mine
