Jon Alan - Graveyard
1 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
Rest comfortably, indeed,
Fore the wind is always caressing
Never whipping up a scream
And the graveyard greens of summer
And winter's sweet white screen
Make the place a restful mall
Where the dead can await their call
And the quiet nights and blinding days
Combine to make eternity stay,
And keep, as only partners do,
The dead from ever feeling blue.
And here someday we will rest too,
Next to each other, next to You,
And soon again we might just find
An overlapping space and time,
Where someday we will find new times
To rise from slumber, with everything new
Another chance to rhyme, to choose
The bright blue sky will be brand new.
