Johor cops nab 87 for illegal gambling
Description
Police have arrested 87 people around Johor for involvement in illegal lottery and online gambling activities over a four-day joint operation in various locations from Wednesday to Saturday (April 17 to 20).
State police chief Comm M. Kumar told the media on Sunday (April 21) that the suspects, aged 18 to 64 years, have been remanded to assist with police investigations under the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953.
