JohnToporek - Reunion

When I was twenty-three years old,
Our family seemed so large back then,
The picnics were confusing times
Though everyone was friendly.
But now I look, they're mostly gone,
Those faces are no longer there,
And time is shooting by quite fast,
Things will be getting lonely.
Vacations are defined quite well,
Life's long term goals are often not,
Who'll be there when the lights get dim
When I can barely see?
With friends not there to celebrate,
Least nowhere near to be there when,
That curtain's finally grasped and drawn,
And I'm at last set free.
