John Wick Copied The Equalizer

I hate to upload this considering how great the John Wick franchise is but in comparison it is almost identical to The Equalizer.
Both films were released in 2014.
John Wick: 30 October 2014.
The Equalizer: 25 September 2014.
Principal photography began September 25, 2013 for John Wick while The Equalizer was in production in May 2013.
Both are hyperviolent revenge movies against the Russian Mob and strangely both star Tait Fletcher.
