I ask the Lord of the land what must I do to please you?
The master ask me to paint a house with a color I can find!
I look up and down lift or right here or there yet i do not see
I ask master where can I go I looked high and low?
Look to light he smiled and replied You will find what you need
I see a blinding light that is beautiful but painful to see with my eyes
I crawl on my hands and knees to a light too bright to look up!
What I find is a tree in the shaped of a T right under the light
A bucket was there collecting something red and pure
The master replied take the bucket and paint my great house
The work hard and I being scared have never painted before.
Master please take this work away from me!
So I move with each brush stroke up and down left and right
I make a big red mess even to my hands it will not come off
I ask the master how do I get the paint to leave my hands?
All he said: faithful servant with you I am well pleased.
Go to the world and touch others with my mark on your hands
Every place I go I leave that red paint for it is always wet.
People are marked by my master's love
With paint that won't leave my side but help me where I go
Some except and others reject the paint yet it saves lives!
To find the house was never the great work
The love your hands can show others
Was always the Lord's master plan
